READIN

Jeremy's journal

Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention.

— Sir Francis Bacon

🦋 Clouds above South Orange

Speaking of tormentas eléctricas, we're having a pretty dramatic one tonight. I got a nice cloudscape shot just beforehand.

(Actually the full size image of this would make a really nice wallpaper file.)

I'm thinking of the night last October we went to see the Burleysons playing at Pig Bar, we could see the lightning flashing across the river in Hudson. The clouds were heavy by us but no rain.
