Building my bookcase, I used a pair of sawhorses as a workbench -- built from metal sawhorse joints with pieces of 2 X 4 nailed in. In principle sawhorses are a fine work table; however these were not sturdy enough for my taste. I downloaded a plan for a more solid sawhorse, assembled with screws and glue, from PlansNOW. I'm hoping to build it in a week or so, prior to starting my next project. |
