Letter to Myself.

In this poem I think I would like to write about Blind Willie McTell, I have been looking for a song, which song would be the appropiate one to make reference to at the beginning of the thing, I think now that it should be "Broke Down Engine Blues" which is on the second CD -- it brings to mind some of the images and scripts that I associate with Dylan, or Robert Johnson, I believe that I will bring it along to my next guitar lesson. -- Also bring the "Bark" as a backup plan, or perhaps the Hurt CD. Say "there's a couple of things I wanna learn, what do you reckon would be the better one to start with?" And secretly rooting for one or the other, and gratified or disappointed at the outcome.

idea: to really honestly
free-write, where you can
actually cease to worry about
your output. See if there's really
any meat in it and then, luck
holding up, rewrite it as a poem --
What does that mean, "as a poem"? -- and
have it actually be presentable. What
would such a poem mean? Bring in the
"Prufrock" discussion, and try to figure out
What's really at stake there.
